Welcome to the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists! There are eleven local Seventh-day Adventist congregations spread throughout the islands of Bermuda. We encourage you to visit a nearby congregation for worship any Sabbath. Residents and visitors alike are always welcomed.
For those who really don't know, Bermuda is a British overseas territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Located off the east coast of the United States, it is situated around 1770 km (1,100 mi) northeast of Miami, Florida and 1350 km (840 mi) south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The nearest landmass is Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, about 1030 km (640 mi) west-northwest. It is the oldest and most populous remaining British overseas territory.
Bermuda has a thriving economy, with a large financial sector and tourism industry giving it the world's highest GDP per capita in 2005. It has a sub-tropical climate, pink beaches, and cerulean blue oceans. This group of islands is home to over 65,000 people mainly employed in International business and tourism. Hamilton is the capital city and St. George's (the original capital) is a World Heritage Site. The international Airport is located at the eastern end of the island on part of St. David's island. Major hotels are mainly on the south coast between Southampton and Warwick. You have to come and visit us!
