Bermuda’s residents will on Wednesday, 9 September 2009 join in a common cause when they meet to pray for the island. The main event is scheduled to take place at Victoria Park at 6:30 p.m.

There will also be a noon program featuring a number of performing artistes and groups including the Bermuda Institute Choir on that same day at City Hall. 

Activities leading up to the main event include an outdoor prayer service. This service will last for the entire day and involves the participation of various religious groups in Bermuda. This prayer vigil will begin on Friday, 4 September 2009 at 6 p.m. and end Saturday, 5 September 2009 at 6 p.m.  

Adventist churches are being encouraged to participate in this event.  Contact Pastor D. Randolph Wilson at 441 292-4110 for additional information.

The event will conclude on Sunday, 6 September 2009 with a service beginning at 4 p.m. in Dockyard and traveling to St. Georges via car, air and sea.
